Initially the Golf Club was a place for me to go to play golf and get away, but it has become much more over the years. Nancy has taken up the game so now we spend time together enjoying the golf course. The couple’s events have been a great way to meet other members and make new friends. There is nothing like standing on 17 green and looking back towards the clubhouse…spectacular and not a better view in Tulsa. Our grandkids have chased golf balls, deer and butterflies all over the course! We’ve hosted anniversary dinners and birthday dinners at the club - a beautiful venue - and the food and service are always outstanding. I honestly believe there isn’t a better private club to be a member of. Every time I drive through the gate I shake my head in amazement that I have the privilege of being a member of The Golf Club of Oklahoma.

The Golf Club of Oklahoma is unique to us as former members of several other Tulsa area country clubs. We now have a place that is really all about building quality relationships, families and golf. After over eight years here at The Golf Club, we appreciate that each year the course, facilities, programs and staff have just gotten better and better. They are always finding creative ways to enhance the member experience. Golf groups are welcoming to new members, tee times are never required, the course is challenging and fair at the same time and the practice facilities are designed for all levels of play and all ages. Anything you need from the pro shop staff, kitchen staff or any Golf Club team member instantly becomes a priority. Customer service is the focus here. As long as we are in Tulsa we don’t ever plan to leave.

I've been a member at The Golf Club since April 2019, and have really enjoyed my time here. I'm pretty new to the area, so I asked several players, and a couple teachers where they would join if they were me. Virtually all of them said The Golf Club would be a great fit for me, and what I was looking for. It's an easy 15-minute drive from north Broken Arrow any time of the day.  When I first came out to see The Golf Club, The half mile drive from the Guard House to the parking lot really got my attention. It just seems to put you in a different zone, and reminds me how special this place is. This place really is different, and you know it when you drive in. The golf course is excellent; I've never played a Tom Fazio course I didn't like. It's a tough, but fair golf course for players of any ability level. I like that there are no houses on the golf course, and most of the holes are secluded from the adjoining holes. Junior players are always welcome, and many players walk rather than ride when they play, and that's important to me as a member. The practice facilities are excellent as well. The new indoor Golf House has everything I could hope for as a player to improve my game, and enjoy my time. As for the clubhouse, the view, and the amenities, what could you not like? It has everything you want, including cottages should you want to utilize one. It's a very quiet and welcoming atmosphere. The members are friendly, so the environment doesn't have the stuffy aura. The entire team of staff are very friendly, and approachable - they want you there. I know I made the right choice in joining The Golf Club, and look forward to many years here.
